Tav Issue 2
In honor of the designation of 2009 as the International Year of Astrology, Tav's second issue explores the mythology of space. Present in all works is a sense of isolation, an investigation of the inner world, the otherworld, and the unknown, and an attempt to capture and understand the singular mystique and insular nature of the individual and the world she or he creates.
Tav's second issue, out on Mac and PC compatible CD-ROM, contains over one hundred individual works of fiction, poetry, painting, drawing, video, and song.
Find out more about issue 2 here.
Issue 2 CD - $5.00
Indigenous Indiana t-shirt - $10.00
Tav is in possession of several vintage t-shirts dating from the tavities. To commemorate the release of Tav issue 2, we're selling this spacey design by Indigenous Indiana, the tavities' coolest clothing label.
Subli-Mations DVD
Sublimations features 12 animated shorts by Andrew Negrey and Luke Meeken, including works featured on Tav such as The Little Fox, and a series of tableaux based on the Planet Cards Project String.
Subli-Mations DVD - $10.00
League of Planets Card Game
Defend your home planet from attack! With the contents of this package, turn any ordinary game of war into an interstellar crusade!
Featuring art from the Planet Cards Project String, as well as new descriptive text for each planet.
League of Planets Card Game - $6.00
FINDING THREE-DEE: Anaglyph Hieroglyph
By Luke Meeken, contributing artist in Tav issues 1a, 2, and 2a.
Finding Three-Dee explores the narrative potential of red/blue anaglyphic 3D-glasses in the form of a narrative picture book based loosely on a fracturing of the Epic of Gilgamesh.
Separate, complementary narratives are contained in the red and blue color channels on each page, interacting in strange and unforseen ways. Choose the red or blue glasses to choose your chromatic path through the book, or find the two-color anaglyph specs and pierce the veil between worlds, seeing both narrative universes unfold simultaneously.
Includes three pairs of magic spectacles.
More info and sample pages can be found here.

<THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE TIME CODE>NO INFORMATION AVAILABLE</THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE TIME CODE>

Tav has several open projects that anyone can submit works to, and periodically we'll put out collections of works, often themed, in an on-line or physical issue. Issues are generally preceded by a call for submissions, but open projects can be submitted to any time.
Have something you want to include? E-mail tav at editors@tav.ind.in.
OPEN PROJECTS
Character Bank
Character Bank is a public domain character project. Submissions of creative works including fiction, poetry, art, and music will be accepted for publication.
Make any creative work using characters from the Bank. The characters have no set relations, characteristics, or personality traits. New works need not be completely compatible with previous Character Bank publications.
Deep Space
Deep Space is a collaborative online labyrinth. Our space adventurer is exploring the caverns beneath remote planet T'Sui Pen. Caverns split and twist, and our adventurer boldly delves down each and every forking path, meeting a variety of fates, some fateful, some fatal, some fatuous.
The Spotted Dream Owl
The dream owl has been sighted across the country, swooping over meadows, slipping through golf courses at midnight, crossing busy streets, but disappearing before reaching the other side.
Have you spotted the dream owl?
The April 25 Journal Project
The April 25th Journal Project was created in 2008 when Tav contributor Eric Delp requested his friends to write a journal entry for/on the 25th of April. On this site you can find the resulting entries.
On April 25th, 2010 the project will create another chronological cross-section, with a new collection of journal entries, this time open to any and everyone.
